Fairies are real

The Fairy Basslet, also known as the Royal Gramma (Gramma loreto), is a small, vibrantly colored fish native to the tropical western Atlantic Ocean, including the Caribbean. This fish is easily recognizable by its striking coloration: the front half of its body is a vivid purple to violet, which fades into a bright yellow towards the tail. It also features a distinctive black spot on the front of its dorsal fin and a black line running through its eye. Fairy Basslets are relatively small, typically growing to about 8 cm (3.1 inches) in length. They are often found swimming near the bottom of the reef, feeding on plankton and small crustaceans, and often seem to prefer to swim upside down under a ledge on the reef. Their vibrant colors and interesting behaviors make them a favorite among divers.
